About Dr Mohammad Aldahshan
I’m a Consultant Gastroenterologist with over 15 years of clinical experience specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of stomach, liver, and colon disorders. Patients often come to me feeling bloated, tired, or constantly uncomfortable after meals—and leave with answers, relief, and a clear path forward. I combine deep clinical expertise with advanced diagnostic tools to deliver fast, accurate, and evidence-based care—no guesswork involved. I’m certified by German and European medical boards, PLAB (UK), and ECFMG (USA), and currently practice in Abu Dhabi, UAE. My mission is simple: to provide expert care that’s precise, compassionate, and tailored to every individual.
Education
I hold the European Board Certification in Gastroenterology and Hepatology (April 2016) and the German Board Certification in Gastroenterology (Facharzt) (April 2017). In addition, I have received advanced training and certifications from the German Association of Gastroenterology (DGVS), including specialized certificates in Hepatology and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). I am also certified in performing Endoscopic Full-Thickness Resection of Colonic Polyps using the FTRD system, as well as Endoscopic Submucosal Dissection (ESD) for colonic polyps using a double-lumen endoscope (June 2018). These qualifications reflect my commitment to staying at the forefront of minimally invasive gastroenterological procedures and evidence-based care.
Certificates and Achievements
I hold multiple international certifications that reflect a strong foundation in both medical and surgical disciplines. I earned the Hepatology and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) certificates from the German Association of Gastroenterology (DGVS). I successfully passed all three steps of the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) on the first attempt, with scores of 85/209 in Step 1 (2007), 98/236 in Step 2 CK (2007), and a pass in the Clinical Skills exam, leading to ECFMG certification. I also passed the Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS) exams — Part One in 2005 and Part Two in 2006. Additionally, I passed the PLAB Part One exam in 2005 and the Jordanian Board of Surgery Part One exam in 2006. I also hold a Certificate of Completion of the State Internship Examination, marking the successful completion of my foundational clinical training.
